Holiday Baking



 My sister and I spend lots of time before Christmas gets here baking all sorts of yummy treats for the holidays! :)

Here are some of out favorites and tips to go along with them! :)





Chocolate Covered Pretzels!

I had the bright idea this year to use an Asian Skimmer

1. Have you pretzels and toppings ready to go!
2. Carefully melt chocolate chips or melting chocolate in a plastic bowl (metal gets too hot!) until it is melted through. Stir it well.
3. Pour the desired amount of pretzels into the bowl and stir them into the chocolate.
4. When they are well covered, use the skimmer to scoop pretzels and gently shake to let excess chocolate drip off pretzels. Drop pretzels onto wax paper and spread them out.
5. Sprinkle on toppings if desired.


 Christmas Crap, white trash... or what ever your family calls it :P



Mix together cheerios, chex cereal, M&M's, and pretzel twists on a large table or counter.

Melt white chocolate with a few drops of almond oil and pour over the dry mixture.

Mix chocolate into the dry mix until everything is well coated.

The amount of chocolate depends entirely on how much "mix" you are making. I'd recommend at least two packages of melting chocolate /1 box or bag of each ingredient you are using. :)
